After a long, troubled and storied season, my intermediate men's team has walked away with the title this year. We made it to the last game of the playoff on the strength of the only goal of the semis, from one of our stars, Matthew. However, he was injured, and there was some speculation he would have to miss the final match, and we were quite discouraged. However, he showed up close to gametime, and gave everyone a boost.
